Family is the guiding star that illuminates her path, she learned early on from her loving parents the importance of commitment to family first.  She treasures her weekly family dinners with her 3 Grown children + 2 grandkids and senior dog Maya.

Lisa Kirby ~ Nutrition Coach, Hormones Specialist, Strength Instructor 

Lisa is a sought-after nutrition coach certified by the National Academy of Metabolic Sciences (NAMS), a licensed permanent weight loss specialist, and co-founder of The Green Door Life. She is also a certified hormone specialist through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), a Health Mindset Coaching Certification (HMCC) behavior change coach, and a board-certified Applied Quantum Biology (AQB) practitioner.

Her mission is to free people from the self-imposed prison of restrictive dieting, the endless cycle of weight loss attempts, and the decision fatigue of navigating conflicting information about nutrition and exercise. Lisa’s approach honors the bio-individual nature of each person, guiding them toward alignment with their highest purpose and helping them live a life they love.

Drawing on over 25 years of experience, Lisa has refined her own health and physique through targeted nutrition and exercise, advanced training techniques learned from pro-athlete coaches, and her work with thousands of clients. She has helped people build muscle, boost energy, balance hormones, and feel confident in their bodies—skills that sustain lifelong health.

Lisa believes that physical health is the foundation for mental and spiritual growth. She helps clients unlock their unique nutrition and movement needs, opening the door to self-actualization.

In addition to coaching, Lisa leads operations, systems optimization, marketing, and communications for The Green Door Life. She oversees weekly newsletters, social media, and content strategy.

When she’s not focused on nutrition and women’s health, Lisa enjoys live music (especially electronic), dancing, dining out, traveling, strength training, and spending time with her family. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, she now lives with her husband, Chandley, and their two boys, ages 12 and 7, in Buda, a small town just outside of Austin, Texas.
